Part-Time Food Truck Assistant
Schedule: Part Time | Days, Evenings and/or weekends
Position Overview
The Food Truck Assistant supports daily food truck operations by assisting with food prep, service, cleanliness, and customer experience. This role is ideal for someone dependable, enjoys fast-paced environments, and customer focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food prep, portioning, and assembling orders
- Serve customers quickly and accurately during service hours
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety guidelines
- Greet customers and provide friendly service
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and restocking
- Support during catering events, festivals and pop-ups as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 Ibs
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Food Service experience preferred but not required
- Food Handler's Permit preferred or willingness to obtain
Pay Scale
- $14.00-$16.00 per hour (entry-level)
- $16.00-$18.00 per hour (experienced)
- Event shifts: $120-$180 per event
